A Space for Everyone to Create

  • Welcoming & Affirming

  • Inclusive and Accessible

  • Community Driven

  • Trauma Informed

  • Donation Supported

This is your space to come and create in a supportive, non-judgmental environment that nurtures self-expression. Whether you’re looking for space to work on your own creative project or your interested in exploring new materials and techniques, the Art Equals Hive provides the resources and encouragement to foster a holistic creative practice.

What to Expect:

Whether we’re in the studio or out in the community, you can expect to find a comfortable welcoming space, a variety of tools and supplies for everyone to use, community creators who are eager to share their skills and learn from others, and facilitators who are skilled in supporting the creative process with inclusive and accessible practices. Each week we offer a different “flavor” of Art Equals Hive so we can offer a wide variety of inspiration, but expect that you can always work on your own projects if desired. Hives are supported by those who attend through donations of funds, supplies, and sweat equity so expect to contribute as you are able.

We are proud to be included as part of the international network of Art Hives, all of which serve as third spaces to foster community, inclusivity, and creativity. For more information check out arthives.org
