Cryptid Prints

Cryptids are beings, believed by some to exist in the wild, but have not been proven by mainstream science. Examples of popular cryptids include Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Moth Man, or unicorns. You may have seen a blurred photo, a drawing, or heard a story as evidence they exist. One prevalent form of evidence is the casts of footprints taken in areas where Bigfoot is said to live.

Make your own Cryptid Prints

Step 1: Make a Path

Roll or pat out the clay into a fairly flat surface, this doesn’t have to be perfect but make sure it’s not too thin. This surface will represent the muddy path on which your cryptid left their print.

Step 2: Design Your Print

Imagine what print your favorite cryptid would leave behind. If you need some help, think about what animal or creature is similar and what shape that creature makes. Use that as inspiration. Then, using your hands and fingers, shape the print you imagined into the clay.

Step 3: Label Your Evidence

Now that you have created your cryptid print, you need to date it! Use the stylus provided to scratch the name and date your cryptid evidence was created.
