Sacred Shrines (previous event)

November begins a time when many cultures celebrate ancestors and departed loved ones. Shrines have long been used as a way to remember those special people in our lives, , seek healing, or engage with their inspirational energy. In this workshop you will learn how to make your own pocket-sized shrine from small candy tins. Create your shrine to hold pictures of a loved one, favorite sacred spirit , or images that simply inspire you. Participants are encouraged to bring mementos, such as pictures, fabric, ribbons, and other small items to personalize their spaces. All skill levels are welcome for this workshop.
