FAQ for Heartfelt Creators

  • Can I use any materials?

We encourage creativity. Use paper, crochet, glass, or even found objects. Just keep in mind that the finished work will need to be displayed indoors at an event welcoming to all ages. Art Equals reserves the right to make decisions about what can properly be displayed and will contact you if issues arise.

  • Can I make something other than a heart?

Our theme for this particular event is “Show Us Your Heart”, so we are anticipating some wonderfully creative hearts in all shapes, sizes and colors. While we encourage you to push the limits of your creativity, we would appreciate seeing your heart at this event.

  • When does my piece need to be finished?

All items must be ready for installation by Wednesday, February 22. Items can be delivered during regular studio hours or by appointment on or prior to this date.

  • Will I be paid for my work?

Because this is a fundraiser, we are asking that participants donate their work to be auctioned. Proceeds will go to support our ongoing events and creative projects. We are offering free workshops throughout the months of January and February where supplies will be provided at no cost. We are also willing to provide supplies from our studio and small stipends when necessary. Contact us for more information about supporting your creativity.
